A map of the work
One home for the connections; distinct places for the work itself.
This site is my public index. PRE names a way of thinking about infrastructure. NLLabs holds research and longer lab notes. Aetla is an umbrella for exploring which experiments could become useful products. The projects below are at different stages; the labels are part of the account.
PRE
Performance, Reliability, Efficiency: connect the system’s behavior to useful outcomes and the resources they require.

Experiments with persistent agents, cognition, memory, and trust, developed with Clawd. The questions include what survives a session and how an agent notices stalled work.

Informivore
Collect signals, apply explicit rules, and investigate differences. Implemented detectors and interfaces; predictive usefulness remains an open question.
Inspect a detector →Axolotl Tower Defense
A Roblox campaign with real balance results. Automated and Studio bot checks are documented; independent human playtesting is still needed.

Data compositions intended to work on paper. A new SVG study illustrates the direction using actual game-balance data.

Solar, storage, radio, home sensing, D&D, and things built with my kids. Some are experiments; some are simply ways of spending time together.
More about life beyond work →Aetla
A place to explore which ideas might become useful products, beginning with the hardest uncertainty and the evidence needed to continue. The projects listed here should be read according to their individual status, not as a catalog of available services.
